New Year’s Resolution πŸ™‰πŸ™ŠπŸ™ˆ

 As I was writing the previous post, I realized it's already 2024 (hella scary if you ask me), and of couse the most generic post I can make is a New Year's Resolution BUT...thought by posting it out into the public, it would make me more accountable.......*tell that to the ostrich in me XD*


'24 New Year's Res

1. Target weight 52kg - not just for vanity's sake, but that weight actually falls within the health BMI range for Asians, and I'm currently considered above this range πŸ’€

2. Study more Mon-Fri so I can relax properly on the weekends - also cuz I can already see quite a few commitments popping up on the weekends given both social and club activities (new co-Hiking Officer for WMMSS this year!) so need a better approach to studies than last year πŸ˜…

3. Aim for gym 3/7 - seemed to get best results when I was doing this back in early 2021 πŸ’ͺ

4. Read more books - rediscovered my passion for reading these past 2/12 so would love to continue it throughout this year and not just "cramming" during breaks πŸ“š

5. Spend less, save more - a wedding in the US and (hopefully) an elective placement in Europe this year, both of which are hella costly, so gotta be less trigger-happy with my wallet this year 😞

6. Watch videos more purposefully - basically try and avoid doom scrolling on insta or get sucked in the autoplay rabbit hole of YouTube as I'm wont to do and then regretting my life choices πŸ’€

7. Go on more hikes on my days off - a much more fun way to work on my cardio for me - admire those who actually enjoy running but it's just not for me πŸ₯Ύ
